RSform!Pro - Joomla! user registration plugin

The RSForm!Pro - Joomla! user registration Plugin allows you to create a user registration form with RSform!Pro.

With this plugin you will be able to create your own custom registration forms for that extra information that you need to collect.

You can download the plugin from the Customer Downloads area of our website (make sure you're logged in).

Tutorial - Using RSForm!Pro Joomla! user registration plugin

The RSForm!Pro - Joomla! user registration Plugin allows you to create user registration forms with just a few configuration clicks.

Technical requirements

In order to make the plugin work, you need:

• Joomla! 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 or 2.5
• Latest revision of RSForm! Pro
• Joomla! user registration enabled: Site > Global Configuration > System > Allow User Registration: Yes

Getting the RSForm!Pro - Jooml! user registration plugin

In order to download the RSForm!Pro - Joomla! user registration Plugin you must have at least one active code of RSForm!Pro. Simply go to the Customer Downloads section of our website (You must be logged-in in order to see the Customer Downloads section).

In the list of downloads go to the RSForm!Pro section, and download the file called plg_rsfpregistration.zip

Installing the plugin

Once you have downloaded the RSForm!Pro - Joomla! user registration Plugin, you can install it using the default Joomla! installer as shown in the image

The RSForm!Pro - Joomla! user registration Plugin should auto-publish itself, but if that doesn't happen, you can go to Extensions / Plugin Manager and enable it. The plugin is located in the System group and you can identify it by the name of "System - RSForm!Pro Registration Form"

Enabling the integration

Once you have enabled the plugin, go to RSForm!Pro » Manage Forms and edit the form where you want to use the Joomla! registration plugin. You will notice that one more tab has appeared.

After selecting your desired form, you will have to: go to the Joomla! registration tab (Components > RSForm!Pro > Form Manager > edit a form) and enable the integration for the form if you enable the New User Account Activation option, you will receive a system email with a confirmation link the Merge Vars section allows you to specify what form fields will be used for the required user data. By default, the following data is required: Name, Username, E-mail, Verify E-mail, Password and Verify Password. Notice:if Community Builder is installed and active, then the plugin will automatically create valid CB users.
