I added the {unsubscribe} placeholder to the message but it does not work

Please make sure that the {unsubscribe} placeholder is used in the Mail Footer from RSMail! >> Settings >> E-mails. Note that it will not return a valid unsubscribe link if it is used in another section of the message.

Also, if you are testing the newsletter message by sending it from RSMail! >> Messages >> edit your message >> Spam Score & Preview, then the mail footer will not be included in the message. To test the newsletter message with the Mail Footer you can create a test list, add your email address to it and send the message to the test list.
