Note: In order for CAPTCHA to work, you need the FreeType and GD libraries to be installed and enabled in your PHP configuration.
  • Enabled: Selects whether CAPTCHA is enabled when submitting a ticket.
  • Display CAPTCHA for: Check which users will be asked for a CAPTCHA security code when submitting a ticket. Multiple options are permitted.
  • Characters: Selects how many characters are displayed in a CAPTCHA image.
  • Generate Dots: Selects whether dots are generated in the background.
  • Generate Lines: Selects whether lines are generated in the background.
    You can turn of both Generate Dots and Generate Lines features for a more clearer image. They are used to confuse image processing bots.
  • Case Sensitive: Selects whether the security code is case sensitive (uppercase and lowercase matter).
    Set "Case Sensitive" to "No" so that uses will be able to type security codes in all lowercase or all uppercase.
