RSEvents! - Installing a new language file

Installing a new language file

Multi-language files for RSEvents! are divided into two categories: front-end and back-end. These are separate files and are installed separately, independent one from another.

Note:You will not be able to install an RSEvents! language file if your Joomla installation does not have that particular language file by default. If, for example, you wish to install the Spanish language file for RSEvents! you will have to install Joomla Spanish language packs ( front-end and back-end ) first.

How to install a Joomla language pack:

  1. Download the language packs:
    • es-ES_Joomla_1.5.8_admin.zip - installation language pack for Joomla back-end.
    • es-ES_Joomla_1.5.8_site.zip - installation language pack for Joomla front-end.
  2. Go to Extensions > Install/Uninstall
  3. Browse the previous downloaded files and click "Upload File and Install".

How to install a RSEvents! language pack:

  1. Download the language packs:
    • es-ES_RSEvents_admin.zip - installation language pack for RSEvents! back-end.
    • es-ES_RSEvents_site.zip - installation language pack for RSEvents! front-end.
  2. Go to Extensions > Install/Uninstall
  3. Browse the previous downloaded files and click "Upload File and Install".
