In a couple of days, Joomla! 1.6 will reach end of life and will no longer be supported.

All Joomla! 1.6 users are being advised to upgrade to the latest Joomla version, 1.7, before 19 August 2011.

If you have migrated your websites to 1.7, then you’ll be happy to find out that ALL RSJOOMLA! extensions (except RSTickets! - not to be confused with RSTickets!Pro and RSForm! - not to be confused with RSForm!Pro) are compatible with Joomla! 1.7.

We’ve performed multiple tests and code optimization to assure that all our extensions are stable and ready to be used on Joomla! 1.7 websites.

How to sell event privileges with RSMembership!

RSEvents! with RSMembership! Suppose you have a Joomla! based community website where users can organize local events from concerts to meetings and fundraisings.

One of the project requirements is to be able to sell the priveligies to add events. For example, one would be able to pay in order to add an event.

Users that want to manage their own events (create new events or even sell tickets via PayPal) will periodically be charged.

RSMembership! integration with 2CheckoutWe've updated the RSMembership! 2Checkout plugin to be compatible with the latest changes made by the payment service regarding the way that handles
the automated order process.

So, what's new in the RSMembership! 2Checkout plugin?

Basically, the plugin configuration remained the same: you will still be required to set the 2Checkout Id, secret word, routine and mode in the "Plugin Manager" area.
